What is Life in parenthesis?

I've never asked Lalibelulaa what the title means. I suppose it's a deviation from the normal flow of life or maybe that our life is a deviation from normality.

WIKI: In rhetoric, a parenthesis is an explanatory or qualifying word, clause, or sentence inserted into a passage with which it doesn't necessarily have any grammatical connection.
