Random Rambling: Drop Dead Fred Remake?

Hey!

No!!! They are going to make it look like bettlejuice and make Russell Brand to be the star. Why?? They are going to ruin it ! Russell should not be considered an actor, he isn't even a good comedian . Arghh!!! Drop Dred Fred is a cult classic because it is difficult to make anything like it ( So dont try). This is like Donnie Darko and the sequel S.Darko, it simply dosen't work.

Random Rambling: OBAMA VS LIE TO ME

Hey!

Obama was refused to air during prime-time at FOX, instead their broadcasting Lie To Me. I love "Lie to Me" and considering that Obama will be on several other networks, then I don't necessarily blame FOX. It will be actually great having a choice for most of us who constantly read the newspapers and are well aware of the points that will be discussed.I am not saying that it's not important but showing the same speech in all the channels is uneccesary. People who like to multitask( watch several shows at the same time) would prefer some variety.

In other news,this is Joey king (Ramona)with Selena Gomez (Beezus)from the movie Ramona. This is for Lalibelulaa a fan of the books ( she has read them all, me too).Yeah its a movie for kids but we are all young at heart. Well Lalibelulaa, it comes out in 2010.

Done at 3am, while high on energy drink( Venom, Black Mamba). Bored of doing homework so I drew myself and Lalibelulaa as cartoon characters. I can't seem to concentrate on anything. The problem is that we don't actually look anything like these. It was late, I was taking a break from homework and I have never in my life drawn cartoon version of myself or anyone. I tried to make them animeish but they just look weird( oh well!). Hey, Lalibelulaa after finals you should post more "Life Sucks" comics.

Weird mood today, so playing things that make me relax. I love Young Folks ( my favorite from the list), so Lalibelulaa check it out. There are songs from the concretes, the bird and the bee, submarines, decemberists, lykke li and other stuff. Some of those bands performed at Coachella. As soon as I can save around $900 for ticket, plane, food and hotel, I will go to a Coachella music fest= never ( well that's the life of loan paying college students) . By the time I can throw that money away, I will be too old to go.

1. Terminator Sarah Chronicles- It was a great season finale, but it left me with too many questions. Hopefully they'll come back and explain them.
2. Dollhouse- The episode was ok. I don't like most of the actors, so hopefully it will get better with time. La libelulaa hates this show, but I'm giving it a chance ( probably won't last another season)
3. Dragonball Evolution- I probably won't see the movie, but I find it strange that it has emily rossum (Day After Tomorrow, Phantom of the Opera) in the cast.

Random Ramblings

1. 30 rock- yeap everyone has do at least one show about the recession.
   
2. The office- go Michael Scott Paper Co. !! What was Pam thinking pulling a Jerry McGuire with Michael?.
3. Bones- Bones and Booth were kind of holding hands when they were unconscious. I heard that bones will ask booth to help her have a baby ( in a rational give -me -your- sperm -only kind of thing) Eric Millegan will be back for the season finale. And Gordon Wyatt will be back soon.
   
4. Parks and Recreation- dosen't seem to have high ratings. Only one episode, so lets see were it goes
5. Becky -Does anyone remember when they switched becky's in Rosanne. First it was Alicia Goranson, then she left and in came Sarah Chalke ( from scrubs), then they switch back and then sarah came back. Confusing? Becky kept showing up every 2 years ( where was she?) Watch Becky: here ( its long but just check it out its very funny at 6:24)

6. Lots of carnage this week: Disney fired employees, Italy earthquake, Pirates kill hostage...

• Mad World- from the movie Donnie Darko ( Michael Andrews). Lalibelulaa prefers the version by Adam Lambert( AI), but I prefer the more somber tone in this one. It is a sad song and you are supposed to feel poweless (numb) not emotional.
  

• Once Upon A December - from Anastasia ( Liz Callaway). This is my favorite Disney song. I love the song this song because it makes me very nostalgic. I fear that I will forget my favorite memories:

A few interesting things for today or the last few days:

1. House episode- really amazingly good. Very unexpected, unless you read Ausiello's Files. So Kal Penn ( Kutner) is moving on up to the White House. Yeap, he has taken a job in public relations.Chase and Cameron will fight because of how they handle the death, but there will be a twist ( I think they will end their fight with an engagement). House will end up closer to Cuddy ( hurray for that!!).
2. Fujimori - Alberto Fujimori was sentenced to 25 years, for him that's almost life sentence. Well, that will be a blow to his daughter's( Keiko Fujimori) 2011 campaign in Peru. He will try to appeal.
   
3. Chuck- WOW!! Orion was revealed, that will open a new plotline. Hope they renew for a 3rd season.
4. Community Channel- Natalie Tran is very funny. Check out her latest video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoGfqvh2ME8
5. Microfinance- Here how it works: give money to the little guy, the little guy rises and helps the economy ( and returns your money). Reverse of trickle down economics. Check it out: Kiva.org
   
6. I finished my last exam ( until end of april) last night. Now, lots of homework.

Atirakih's Random Ramblings

Yesterday I was trying to finish my homework before class. I was in front of the University's gym because it was lunch and most of the other seats are taken. I was typing away about how the Spanish language is interrelated with the national identity of Puerto Rico and suddenly I hear: She Bangs, She Bangs!. Jeje! When you need inspiration there is Ricky Martin singing away. It was very random that at that exact moment, when I was writing about Spanish in Puerto Rico and English in the U.S., that a Ricky Martin song would pop up! The gym always puts up weird music that is suppose to help you exercise, but it was weird.
